Hilltop Talent has been retained by a growing healthcare market-intelligence start-up to identify their first Talent Acquisition Lead. That’s right…. You will be the first person in the company hired to directly manage their ambitious hiring plan. While your primary responsibilities will be to support current and future openings, we all know there is so much more to Talent Acquisition than just filling reqs. Call it a clean slate… where you can flex those creative muscles to develop a consistent employment branding and social media strategy… improve the candidate experience… and support corporate social responsibility initiatives. Process oriented? Perfect. You will lead efforts to define and implement strong and efficient processes across the TA program; i.e. - position approval and offer processes, candidate and internal client management, etc.. Love HR/TA Tech? Great. You’ll play a major role in evaluating current and future recruiting technologies, and building business cases in support of the HR-Tech road-map. What are you doing today? You still carry a decent req load, but due to your versatility and business savvy, you are often asked to support other TA/ HR initiatives at your company. You see the big picture and your clients rave about your responsiveness and ability to execute against their hiring goals. You are climbing up your bosses back, but until they move on, you’re likely stuck in your current role. You have grit and determination and are a bit of risk-taker. You also have experience supporting roles across several disciplines including, but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Finance… and of course, Technology. These guys are continuing to build one of the most robust medical databases in the world and thus you’ll be supporting searches for Data Scientists, Developers, Data-warehouse gurus, statisticians, QA folks and so on. If the thought of recruiting on these kind of roles scares you, no need to apply. Unless you have lead a function and called the shots, it’s sometimes difficult to comprehend the value this level of responsibility has on your career. It’s not for the faint of heart… but the upside is tremendously rewarding. The role is remote-based for the foreseeable future, while the company determines where best to locate its Philadelphia headquarters.
